$10 million tutoring center debuts in Santa Ana

Broadcom co-founder Henry T. Nicholas III donated funds to a center aimed at Santa Ana high school students.

SANTA ANA – Broadcom co-founder Henry T. Nicholas III officially opened a new center Wednesday aimed at tutoring and mentoring high school students in Santa Ana Unified School District.

The Nicholas Academic Center will serve 60 students daily with computers and other equipment, and will be staffed by part-time teachers and counselors.

"I am privileged to have the honor to fund and help open this center," said Nicholas at the opening. Nicholas donated $10 million for the project.
