OC Register: "Priest's legacy lives on through home built inside arena"

ANAHEIM -- For nearly three days straight, the arena inside the Anaheim Convention Center was a whirlwind of activity, filled with the sound of volunteers shouting instructions and hammering nails into lumber.

But by Sunday morning, the 9,000-seat arena was silent as Adelle Yeaton, 65, got a look at the finished product.

And the tears began to flow.

"You know, you always wish you had that one more time with somebody," Yeaton said. "This is one of those emotional times. Gordon would have been very happy to see this."

What stood before her was the frame of a two-story, 1,200 square-foot house that is being built in honor of Adelle's late husband, Gordon Yeaton, who died two years ago at age 64.
